Worried about school assessments tests falling into the wrong hands or getting lost?
Minnesota-based K2 Logistics’ security measures for storing and transporting testing materials is sometimes just as complex as protecting banking documents and pharmaceutical supplies.
According to a recent Government Accounting Office report that examined assessment testing, states pay a significant proportion of their testing dollars to design assessments that will fairly and accurately measure student achievement.
“It could cost a state millions to have an education company redesign a test if it falls into the wrong hands,” says Chuck Manley, K2 Logistics’ director of educational services. “We will not contract with a courier partner unless the company assures us that it has proper security measures that include adequately locked and monitored storage facilities.”
