Elearning! Launches Learning Professional Certificates

Elearning!announces the launch of a professional certification program in June 2012. Industry professionals can earn credits for education hosted by Elearning! Media Group (EMG). EMG will extend credits towards certification to professionals who are enrolled in Elearning!and Enterprise Learning! Events or
educational sessions.

“Our goal is to recognize executives who are investing considerable time and energy in their professional development, much of which is occurring outside their own organizations,” reports Joe DiDonato, editor-at-large and program director. DiDonato sees a great need for a professional resume credential
that recognizes an individual’s expertise across the entire learning industry.

More than 10,000 executives have attended an Elearning! Web Seminar, Enterprise Learning! Event, or sponsored session. These alumni and any attendee of these educational opportunities can now earn credits towards the Learning Professional Certificate (LPC). An entry-level credential is awarded at 25 credits, which can be obtained with five hours of education. Additional levels of certification can be achieved as an individual invests time in their professional development.

The Learning Professional Certificate provides executives with a professional resume credential that verifies their investment in learning and workplace technology education. The credential is endorsed by industry-recognized
brands—Elearning! and Enterprise Learning!

The LPC curriculum is developed and delivered by industry leading experts including analysts from Bersin & Associates and Aberdeen Group, executives from top learning organizations, and the editors of Elearning! and Government Elearning! magazines.

“We are also certifying curriculum from partner training organizations to participate in the LPC program,” says Catherine Upton, publisher, Elearning!Media Group. “We are thrilled to announce GoToTraining as a founding sponsor, as well as KnowledgeStar and Enterprise Hive.”

“We are excited to announce all Elearning!Web Seminar, Enterprise Learning!Events and sponsors sessions will qualify for LPC credits. We are also awarding LPC credits to those who have attended our sessions since January 2011,” reports DiDonato.

To begin earning credits, professionals can register at: www.lpc.2elearning.com. Enrollment in LPC is affordable at $249. Start learning and earn your Learning Professional Certificate.
