Mobile, Best of Elearning! Awards, Best Practices and Virtual Learning Sessions Added to ELS14

The Enterprise Learning! Summit Virtual Event (ELS) will host four new additional sessions. These new sessions will tackle learning’s hot topics of mobile, Experience API, best practices, award winning solution providers and engaging virtual learning. Attendees will learn from industry experts who are transforming enterprise learning. Executives can attend free by registering free at http://engage.vevent.com/index.jsp?eid=630&seid=2330.

Beginning March 20th, the Enterprise Learning! Summit virtual event will host a one-hour session on mobile and the Introduction to the Experience API.  Jon Poltrack and Jason Haag, Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) will focus on ADL’s Experience API (xAPI) and introduce several design implications for learning that involves user experience (UX) design, interface design, service and system design, organizational design, reporting and analytics design, and instructional design. Hear about the basics of the xAPI and how it compares to SCORM. This session will be both informative and interactive and will involve audience participation to identify and discuss the potential types of cognitive and performance processes in designing a learning experience using the xAPI.

Tracking Learner Behavior will be hosted by Joe, DiDonato, Editor-at-Large, Elearning! Media Group and Eric Vidal, Virtual Learning Environment Expert, InterCall. In this session Eric and Joe will share how attendees can use learner behavior to optimize learning and the learning experience in your virtual learning environments or classrooms. They share their secrets and strategies in this session including:

  • What behaviors organizations are tracking
  • How Keurig, IBM and HBA track learning behavior to improve their training and better serve their audiences
  • Examples of platforms that enable you to track behavior

In the presentation Genghis Khan Never Used WebEx- But What if He Did, attendees will learn: What Genghis Khan and current e-learning practitioners have in common; Three things great teams do to hold it together; and, How to assess a team’s communication environment. Wayne Turmel, GreatWebMeetings.com will answer, what did Genghis Khan know that today’s project managers and leaders don’t?

In a recent survey, more than 85% of respondents have personally recommended an e-learning solution to a peer over the last 12 months. And, 61% agreed that award-recognition impacted their decision to consider or purchase from the vendor. The Elearning! Awards program formalizes this process by publishing the recommendations of e-learning users and honoring “Best-in-Class” solutions. Catherine Upton and Jerry Roche, Elearning! Media Group hosts the Best of Elearning! Awards presentation at the Enterprise Learning! Summit on March 20, 2014. Virtual event attendees can join the virtual Best of Elearning! Awards to hear who the "Best-in-Class" solutions are and what users are saying about the award winning products.
