Learning! 100 Awards Celebration Event Announced

Celebration of Excellence Being Held in Alexandra, VA

The Elearning! Media Group announced the 8th Annual Learning! 100 Award will be held on Monday, August 27th at the Hilton Mark Center in Alexandra, VA. The Celebration of Excellence will be co-located with Advanced Distributive Learning Initiative’s (ADL) Implementation Fest (iFest). “The Learning! 100 recognizes the top 100 global learning organizations for high performance, innovation and culture. We are honored to host this celebration of excellence at iFest where public and private sector learning leaders convene,” reports Catherine Upton, Award Chairperson.  

Celebrating 8 years, the Learning! 100 are comprised of 60 corporate enterprises and 40 public sector organizations. Previous honorees included American Heart Association, AT&T, Cisco, Defense Acquisition University, Khan Academy and Zappos. ADL is a seven-time Learning! 100 winner. This year, the Learning! 100 are invited to attend the Celebration of Excellence Reception and Awards Ceremony at the Hilton Mark Center on Monday, August 27th. The agenda is as follows:

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM Learning! 100 Awards Reception & iFest Networking Reception

7:30 PM – 9:00 PM Learning! 100 Awards Presentation Ceremony

About Advanced Distributive Learning Initiative

The Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative is a government program reporting to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Force Education and Training (DASD(FE&T)), under the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Readiness.

The ADL Initiative bridges across Defense and other Federal agencies to encourage collaboration, facilitate interoperability, and promote best practices for using distributed learning to provide the highest-quality education, training, informal learning, and just-in-time support; tailored to individual needs and delivered cost-effectively, anytime and anywhere, to increase readiness, save resources, and facilitate interorganizational collaboration.

The ADL Initiative aspires to serve as a thought leader for forward-looking distributed learning topics within the DoD, other national and coalition governmental agencies, and the greater professional community.
