The Tech Teen curriculum is available to registered users through an Internet-based learning management system, which tracks each user’s progress. They measure users’ understanding of the material through short "brain games" at the end of each topic and with more advanced tests at the end of each course module. A final game-like test is included at the end of the course.
Tech Teen is designed to help teens pass the standardized Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) test, the standard for computer literacy. IC3 certificate holders obtain college credit and the education and training needed to succeed not only in technical careers, but also in any field or job position requiring the use of computers.
The Tech Teen licensing program allows school districts, nonprofits, and individuals nationwide to administer the program across an entire school or campus.
