SERVICES: Social Collaboration for Schools

02/25/10 01:55 PM

Qlubb, an online group management service, announces greater administrative functionality to monitor and manage user access of its online sites.

Qlubb’s new administrative functionality provides greater site security and gives administrators more granular control over what Qlubb users can see and do within each Qlubb. Qlubb site administrators now have the ability to restrict a member’s ability to add or modify events, tasks, to view membership roster information, and to upload photos.

Today, many school-related organizations like PTAs and PTOs need to coordinate school-wide activities and manage volunteers. In the past, they typically relied on e-mail, phone calls, in-hall nagging, and paper sign-up sheets. By moving the coordination and communication of school related events and opportunities to Qlubb’s free online service, parents and teachers can now have access to up-to-the minute activities and have a common place to interact and find information without having to worry about cluttering email inboxes, versioning documents, emailing confirmations, or misinformation.

Qlubb is available for free at www.qlubb.com.
