William Boyce Appointed to SkillSoft Board

Mr. Boyce was a founding partner of <org></org>Highland Capital Partners</org><//org>, a venture capital firm, where he was responsible for that firm's investments in telecommunication and telecommunication software companies. Mr. Boyce served on the Board of Directors of a number of software and technology-related companies in the <location></location>Highland</location><//location> portfolio.

Prior to founding <location></location>Highland</location><//location>, Mr. Boyce was an early investor and cellular system operator through a joint venture with Continental Cablevision, and was one of the original board members of the <org></org>Cellular Telephone Industry Association</org><//org> (CTIA), helping establish and shape the cellular telephone industry. Mr. Boyce also served as Vice President and a corporate officer of Affiliated Publication, where he was responsible for that company's initial investment in <org></org>McCaw Communications</org><//org>. Mr. Boyce is a graduate of <org></org>Merrimack College</org><//org> and <org></org>The Harvard Business School</org><//org>.

Mr. Boyce's vision and wide-ranging business experience will add depth to the SkillSoft Board of Directors and will be valuable in developing the Company's overall strategic initiatives.
