Raptivity is adopting the new Tin Can API in its upcoming release. The Tin Can API is the next generation of SCORM that allows learning content and learning technology to communicate with each other in a manner that records and tracks activities that happen as a part of learning experiences, both online as well as offline.
With the new Tin Can release of Raptivity, all the interactions in Raptivity Essential will have the option of publishing to SCORM, AICC or Tin Can. The release will give users the flexibility to pass very specific and granular information about the learning interaction back to the LRS which was not possible with SCORM tracking earlier. Moreover, Tin Can also has the potential to measure how a particular interaction has impacted the learner, thus making calculation of ROI possible.
