Survey results from 1,300 iPad owners show just how valuable and pervasive the mobile device has become in the personal and professional lives of corporate trainers.
The survey notes:
>> Why they like it … 92% like the iPad for its portability; 83% say it makes them more connected while traveling for business; 65% say it has made them more productive.
>> Relying on it more … 95% say their iPad currently supplements their laptop, but 43% expect their iPad will become their primary computing device within the next two years.
>> How trainers use it … 90% use it when traveling for business; 92% to read emails;80% to send emails; 67% for Web research; 51% to view presentations.
The iPad sovaluable that 32%would rather have onethan a more senior title. And 50% would rather have one than a bigger office. Finally, when traveling for business for a day, 47% would go without meals and 39% would go without bathroom breaks,before they’d go without their iPad.
