Allen is currently developing a systems training course that goes beyond merely discussing the features and functions of the software to teaching employees how to improve customer service by leveraging the system itself. Combining customer service training with systems training will provide Farmers’ learners with a more robust, scenario-driven learning environment. This learning environment will concentrate on content from the new system, not comparing it to the old one, which will save Farmers time by allowing them to reuse the training when they begin to build courses for new agents.
Adding to the efficiency of the project, Farmers will utilize Allen’s newest courseware maintenance tool. Through this new tool, Farmers can enjoy the instructional design provided by Allen and utilize this tool independently, updating courseware rapidly as information changes or becomes outdated. By using this maintenance tool, Farmers will save money by being able to maintain their courses easily and quickly without needing IT experience or having to outsource.
