Elearning! Magazine Honored for Excellence Three More Times!

Elearning! Magazine has been nominated for excellence as Best Trade Magazine, Best Series of Articles/Trade, and Best Themed Issue/Trade by the Western Publications Association this year. This honor combines with six previous excellence awards over the last five years.

“This year we have a number of partners with which to share this honor,” reported Upton. “We submitted the Learning Leaders Series for Best Series of Articles/Trade, and we are thrilled that our partner Bersin & Associates will share this honor with us,” continued Upton.

The Best Themed Issue/Trade honor is for the September ’08 Green Issue. The edition featured articles on virtual meetings, online degree programs at FedEx and recycling practices.  “The decision to produce a Green issue also included a paper change to FSC and recycled stock.  We found a Green printing partner in American Web,” reported Upton.  After production, the prior printer adopted Green practices and offered recycled paper stock options.”While using recycled paper costs a little more, we estimate our new practice will save up to 2,000 trees annually,” claimed Upton.

Elearning! Magazine competed against more than 1200 entries. These nominations bring the total to nine excellence awards for the magazine by the WPA.  Visit everything Elearning! at: www.2elearning.com.
