A recent GeoLearning survey identified the top learning trends, according to responses from its audience of learning executives.
When asked their top learning challenges, the execs said, in order:
1) Reduced budget and doing more with less,
2) Creating impact and assuring ROI,
3) Broadening learning development.
Forty-three percent of the executives reported a decrease in their overall training budget for 2009, while only 20 percent reported an increase.
According to the survey, the most important learning initiatives are compliance; performance management; training content creation; LMS/LCMS purchase and implementation; demonstrating ROI to management; and moving ITL training online.
