This was the question that we put to Jeanne Meister, co-author of The 2020 Workplace, and the Founding Partner of Future Workplace, a firm that provides executive education to HR leaders and high-potential managers to build the skills and capabilities needed for success in the workplace of the future.  Not only has Jeanne agreed to keynote our Enterprise Learning Summit, she asked Kim Burgdorf, Director Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness, American Express  Travel & LifeStyle Services to join her for this discussion.  Together, Jeanne and Kim will share a case study on using a social collaboration platform to share information and develop expertise for frontline travel professionals. 

Social has revolutionized the way we communicate, network and collaborate with friends and family.  And now, companies are catching on and leveraging collaboration platforms to increase knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer learning and finding expertise across the enterprise.

In 2014, organizational use of internal social networks will move from an experiment to the status quo. This new phase of social integration, called the “Consumerization of HR” will impact how companies build their employer brand and use this as a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
