Sixty-two percent of organizations are experiencing a reduction in their learning budgets, while 12% report an increase, revealed a pulse study by the Masie Center.
Travel budgets were depleted according to 79% of respondents, driving e-learning and online meetings usage.
Fifty-one percent said their organizations are doing more e-learning, and the same percentage are using more web conferencing and virtual classrooms. In contrast, only 17% are using more classroom based training.
